You will be missed my friend, I'll always remember the great times we had golfing, the fun you had at our pig roast as well as sharing the holidays with my family. It was a pleasure being your friend and I'm grateful for the time we got to spend together. I know your life was complicated but now as much as it saddens us I know you finally have found peace. Pam, Lauren, Lindsay and your families, Doug was a great friend from high school years and for next 50 years. We were tennis doubles partners and partnered to teach tennis at The Host Inn Harrisburg where he met Pam who wanted to learn tennis, got married and you girl's came soon thereafter. Our daughters Kristine & Kimberly have fond memories of going to Hershey Park and the Perry County cabin Doug liked to go to, and the animal park there. Doug loved to come to the Lancaster Host where we enjoyed playing tennis and golf and he would always talk about how important his daughters were to him. We will miss you Doug. He will be forever known in our home as Mr Doug. For the past 6 years he's been our neighbor and friend. We have had countless laughs with everything from ringing our door bell at 2 am to throwing a turkey on our carport for Christmas. He also was so kind and caring with our children. Most mornings he was outside on the carport yelling at kaden to learn at school or giving us an update on the weather. We could also count on him to direct traffic anytime emergency vehicles came through or a truck got stuck on the corner. Mr Doug you are loved and missed.
