We've been friends for a very long time, I know you were happy, grateful and so proud of your family. You shared how much you loved Pat,and how grateful you were to have her in your life. You and I shared so many things, you will be sorely missed, I hope your daughter knows how happy and grateful you were to have her and her family in your life...You always bragged about your grandchildren....Sometimes God has a plan we don't understand...

Pat, I am so sad that you are going through this sad time in your life. I can't imagine how you are doing it but I know that you have the support and love a beautiful family. I didn't get to know Mike very well but I know that if you loved him he had to be a very special person. Both your mom and Barbara remarked about how special he treated you. I know that four years is a short time for both of you but I'm thankful that it was four years of happiness. I hope that you can find strength in the memories you shared during your time together. I pray that God will wrap you in his arms and help you get through the tough times ahead and lead you back to days where you can feel happy again. Pat - it's so hard to believe he's gone. Wally and I have wonderful memories and every time I hear the word "Mikey" I can see him in the garage. I am so grateful for the time we spent with you both over the last year. My door is always open!!

Jill and family, Please accept my deepest sympathy. Although I have not seen Mike in several years I have many memories of him. Most especially, the common joy in hunting that he and my husband, Joe, had shared, and the great stories of escapades that they told. Take comfort in knowing that some day you will see him again.
