Story shared: Hanging out with Herb

John and Herb did quite a bit together especially fishing. Once they went to memorial lake to fish and John went to get something out of his tackle box and that fast Herb stole his spot. They also took a 80 mile trip that turned out to be 150 miles. John was listening to Herb and the gps and somehow they did a scenic route to Black Moshannon State Park. They would go out to dunkin donuts in the morning for coffee and donuts,work on his juke box to get all of his records straighten out,work on his pond outside. John would take him to his dr.appts and run him to the store or wherever. A time or two we went to ocb to eat. Herb reminded me of my father in law. He knew what he wanted and got it done. He loved fishing a lot. There are many fishing tales to be told. He was a great friend and neighbor and will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace Herb!! Love, Your neighbors John and Michele Trish
